IMI distinguishes 4 types of partners
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Training Partner | Training Partners focus almost exclusively on selling Information Mapping® classroom training and e-learning. |
| Solution Partner | Solution Partners provide Information Mapping® training and e-learning, provide Information Mapping® documentation services and total solutions. They typically apply Information Mapping® in the entire company themselves as well. |
| Technology Partner | Technology Partners are companies that have an OEM agreement with IMI and that integrate the fundamentals of the Information Mapping® method into their technological solution. |
| Information Mapping Certified Consultant (IMCC) | Certified Consultants are individuals, often freelancers, who provide Information Mapping® services but no Information Mapping® training |
IMI and its Partners enter into a Distributor Agreement which determines the terms and conditions of the relationship.
