Go beyond the basics and get the results you want from Plain Language.

As the Plain Language initiative gains momentum, government agencies are realizing how improving the effectiveness of their communications can help them

• operate more efficiently
• provide better service to the public, and
• comply with increasing requirements and regulations.

Efforts to improve grammar and reduce jargon are a good start, but agencies will need to go beyond these basics to get the results they want from Plain Language.
