Mexican TV company chooses Information Mapping for major sales training initiative
Mexico-based mass media giant Televisa is a major provider of TV services throughout Mexico and Latin America.
Televisa's three main "platforms" include open TV, digital TV and pay TV services. The company wished to capture knowledge about marketing strategies for each platform and its associated advertising services in order to help their sales executives cross-sell more effectively. They planned to use the captured knowledge to develop training programs and materials for the sales staff.
Televisa's Vice President of Marketing chose the Information Mapping Method as the content standard for this project, and Information Mapping Mexico's consultants were tasked with developing training manuals to enable Televisa sales executives to offer their customers integrated strategic services.
